Rhinecote 500 – SC (Red Lead Primer) is a high build, high solids epoxy polyamide cured, two (2) component epoxy primer formulated for long term protection against rust and provides maximum resistance to most chemicals. It is a corrosion inhibiting primer that contains a high percentage of lead necessary for the specified exposures. It gives full protection against the corrosive action of various chemical fumes, salt, fog, or just plain moisture. It is best recommended as a primer first coat and intermediate, or tie coat, over an epoxy Zinc Rich coating for anti-corrosive protection. Ideal for interior and exterior application on steel structures, pipes, tanks, etc.
