Rhinecote 500 – SC (Steelast Zinc Rich Primer) is an excellent two (2) component epoxy polyamide primer especially formulated as a protective coating for all ferrous metal subjected to high moisture, humidity, and under water immersion. It is a coating that provides almost 90% Zinc in the dried film. It protects by electro-chemical cathodic blanketing. It is a general primer-first coat that applied well to iron or steel surfaces subjected to atmospheric or corrosive conditions. It sis recommended as a primer for storage tanks in beer cellars, dairies, and plants where you have humidity, moisture, and water condition with which to contend.
